Billy Dohnt, Adelaide Chef.
  • A culinary wizard, epicurean adventurer, and connoisseur of the finer things in life, Billy’s love for good food and quality produce is reinforced with every dish he creates.

    Billy’s culinary foundation was carefully laid with years of industry exposure while climbing the ranks.

    He worked at various establishments, from McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills to Euroa in Victoria, and everywhere in between. He’s taken a leading role at distinguished restaurants and wineries as well as consulting to up-and-coming establishments that he’s nurtured and moulded from the ground up.

    Billy reached the epitome of his gastronomic adventure in 2019 when he took a leap of faith to establish his own business, Does Catering. He loves that through this work he can explore and showcase simple, fresh, seasonal food, highlighting the remarkable regional produce available in South Australia.

Lauren Vaughan. Weddings and Functions
  • Lauren is the management mastermind behind Does Catering; planning, and executing events, weddings, and functions of all sizes. With over 15 years of event management experience, Lauren has worked in some of Adelaide’s leading and largest venues, managing teams of all sizes to ensure hassle-free functions. Lauren joined the team six years ago and has been an irreplaceable asset in growing and evolving Does Catering into the thriving business it is today.

    As a mother of two young children, Lauren is also a master-manager at home and a jack-of-all-trades. She jumps from motherhood to management on a daily basis; regularly combining the two!
